About this course

This course will demonstrate applying query rewriting strategies to effectively create jobs that convert underperforming queries and thus improve relevancy. We'll cover Misspelling Detection, Phrase Extraction, Synonym Detection, and Head/Tail Analysis.
 
Goal: Fusion users will be able to apply query rewriting strategies effectively to create jobs that improve their search relevancy and underperforming queries.
 
Course Objectives:
  • Identify query rewrite jobs and common characteristics associated with them.
  • Conceptualize the value and output of these jobs and recall job parameters and fine-tune options.
  • Recognize how to clean up query rewrite jobs.
  • Analyze signal data to compose common themes.

Before starting this course

Prerequisites: None!
What you should know: Experience with Fusion’s query rewriting strategies is necessary in order to be successful in this course. If you are brand new to Fusion or are unfamiliar with its basic components, take our Query Rewriting with Business Rules and search Rewrites eLearning first prior to completing this course.
